Individuals who are currently DDD eligible have up to 60 days (by March 22, 2013) to become Medicaid eligible or services may be discontinued (under certain extenuating circumstances, individuals may be permitted an additional 30 days, giving them until April 22, 2013). Individuals using a private insurance carrier as their primary means of health insurance can remain with that carrier, but they will also need to become Medicaid eligible to continue receiving services through DDD.
