Farmers' Market Benefits Now Available through WIC - 05/2026
NOTICE: Farmers’ Market Benefits Now Available through WIC
It’s Farmers’ Market season again! Eligible pregnant and postpartum women, and children ages 1–4 may each receive a one-time $30 Farmers’ Market benefit on a first-come, first-served basis. Benefits can be used to purchase locally grown fresh fruits, vegetables, and herbs from approved farmers’ markets and farm stands. These benefits are separate from regular WIC benefits.
Families may also use their monthly fruit and vegetable Cash Value Benefit (CVB) at participating farmers’ markets or WIC-approved stores.
Important for 2026
All families must log into their WIC Participant Portal to access their family QR code for use at participating farmers’ markets. Families will also be able to view their Farmers’ Market and CVB balances through the portal.
If you receive WIC benefits from Ocean County and would like to request 2026 Farmers’ Market benefits, please complete the survey using the link below. Be sure to click through all survey windows until you reach the “thank you” message.
Requests for these benefits will not be accepted by phone or e-mail. Approved families will receive follow-up instructions from WIC by email.
