The Affordable Housing Alliance (AHA) is currently accepting applications for financial assistance for current Monmouth County residents with household income below 200% of the Federal Poverty Income Guidelines.

Available Assistance

Housing Assistance – Up to $6,000

Assistance may include past-due rent or mortgage, HOA fees, property taxes, security deposits, or first month's rent.

Utility Arrears – Up to $1,000 per category

Assistance may be available for past-due or shut-off notices for gas, fuel, electricity, and water bills.

Transportation Assistance

Assistance may be available through EZ Ride ridesharing or NJ TRANSIT bus and light rail passes for work or job training, education, medical needs, and grocery or food-related transportation.
