The LRRC Wins 2nd Place in the Ocean First Challenge
and a Grant of $7,500
What an exciting week! Since The LRRC joined the Ocean First Charity Challenge, we had a total of 28 days to raise more donations than over 100 nonprofit organizations across Ocean County.
Our campaign had no gimmicks - no trips abroad or fancy media spotlights. But Lakewood responded with overwhelming support, proving that the community recognizes the vital role of The LRRC.
The last 24 hours of the challenge had our hearts racing as we competed for winning spots with a number of other nonprofit organizations.
We are pleased to announce that we won second place out of the entire Ocean County, and earned a grant of $7,500 from the Ocean First Foundation.
