Who Qualifies: Households of six people or more who live or work in Ocean, Monmouth, or Mercer Counties, with a family income in the $100,663 to $126,720 range may apply to be entered into the lottery for this one unit.

When: Applications are being accepted from June 1, 2021, through August 31, 2021.

• The house is expected to be ready by winter, 2022. The winning family will need to use it as their primary residence. Those who have already owned a home are eligible to apply. The deed restriction is 10 years.

A successful applicant must provide firm residency evidence such as proof of enrollment in local schools, utility bills, or credit card bills before application submission.
• Pregnancies will be counted in the family size. A household size of five people in which one member is pregnant must submit a doctor’s note as proof.
