Ocean County Emergency Rental Assistance Program - 4/7/2021
Ocean County will be providing temporary rental assistance for households that are at risk for eviction because of COVID-19.
Who: Households in Ocean County who have individuals qualified for unemployment benefits, incurred significant costs, or experienced other financial hardship due to the COVID-19 pandemic, are highly encouraged to apply.
When: Beginning Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at 9:00 am EST. LRRC recommends applying right away, as funds are limited.

Information Needed to Apply: Current lease/rental agreement, notice of past due rent or eviction notice, proof that you were unable to pay your rent due to COVID-19, proof of ID, proof of income.

Further Details:
This program requires participation of the applicant’s landlord to provide information for rental assistance payment. Landlords can apply on behalf of their tenants. Only one application per household is allowed unless roommates have individual leases.
