
Homebuyer Education Event with Guest Speaker Naftali Horowitz - 6/10/2025
Whether planning to purchase a first home or preparing for a future move, prospective homebuyers have a lot to learn! The public is invited to attend the Lakewood Resource and Referral Center (LRRC)'s free Homebuyer Event to gain a better understanding of available mortgage options and how to qualify.
This event will be held on Tuesday, June 10, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Spruce Street Elementary School, located at 90 Spruce Street in Lakewood.
The LRRC is coordinating this event in partnership with Solutions to End Poverty Soon (STEPS to provide valuable information to help homebuyers understand how much they can afford to spend, which mortgage option is best for them, and how to qualify for a loan.
New This Year: Focus on Fiscal Responsibility
For the first time, the event will feature a keynote address at 7:30 PM by Naftali Horowitz, Managing Director at Morgan Stanley. Mr. Horowitz will speak about the importance of fiscal responsibility and offer practical strategies and valuable insights. This is a powerful addition to the program aimed at empowering attendees with tools for long-term financial stability.

Anyone thinking about purchasing a home within the next 3 years is encouraged to attend this event. LRRC and STEPS Certified Housing Counselors will also be available to answer questions.
