JCP&L will be at the Lakewood Resource & Referral Center to help eligible households apply for HEAP (Home Energy Assistance Program) and Universal Service Fund (USF) programs, which can significantly reduce monthly utility costs.

All sessions are by appointment only.

Who May be Eligible?

• Your gross household income is at or below 60% of the 2026 State Median Income, and
• You spend more than 2% of your annual income on utilities
• Households with electric heat must spend more than 4% of annual income on electricity

Please be prepared with the following documents for all household members:

• Copy of lease or mortgage.
• Most recent electric (and gas, if applicable) bill.
• Social Security cards for all household members (and birth certificate for children under 1 year).
• Proof of income for the last 30 days for all working household members. If you are self-employed, bring a copy of last year’s federal and state tax returns with all schedules.
